As a Technical Consultant, you will work within a team of specialists jointly responsible for managing, supporting and delivering JD Edwards implementation projects for a range of clients. This role offers a wide variety of activities and working environments.

Your responsibilities will include preparing implementation and upgrade plans, system monitoring, day-to-day support, system administration and maintenance, patch updates and testing.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive team player: a JD Edwards Technical Consultant with knowledge of JD Edwards CNC, database administration for Oracle, SQL and AS400, and a solid understanding of operating systems and networks. A strong command of both Dutch and English is essential.

You will primarily work from our Utrecht office, combined with time at client locations. You will be part of a global team with colleagues in New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and several European countries, with whom you will be in daily contact about ongoing projects and open support tickets.

What we are looking for

We would like to hear from candidates with knowledge of JDE CNC and experience in both project work and technical support.

Your knowledge and skills:

• 3–5+ years of experience with JDE CNC, preferably with Oracle CNC certification.
• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of professional ability (Dutch HBO level).
• You are a self-starter who manages your own schedule and coordinates with others when needed.
• You have an innovative, solution-oriented mindset and are always looking for ways to deliver the highest quality and add the most value.
• You have an open, approachable personality and strong communication skills, enabling you to support colleagues and clients effectively.
• You are eager to learn and able to absorb new information and acquire knowledge quickly.
• You bring consultancy skills: thinking alongside clients, anticipating their needs and proactively advising them on challenges and potential risks.
• An excellent command of Dutch and English is essential. Proficiency in other European languages is an advantage.
