The role

A Technical Consultant works within a team of specialists jointly responsible for managing and supporting existing JDE systems and executing JDE implementation projects for various clients. This role offers a wide variety of activities and work environments.

Responsibilities include: drafting plans for implementations and upgrades, system monitoring, daily support, administration and maintenance, patch updates, and testing.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive team player — a JD Edwards Technical Consultant with knowledge of JD Edwards CNC, Oracle DBA, SQL, and AS400, and solid expertise in operating systems and networks. Candidates must have a good command of both Dutch and English. Most of the work is performed at our office in Utrecht, alternating with work at client sites. You will be part of a global team with colleagues in New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, and various European countries, with whom you’ll have daily contact regarding ongoing projects or outstanding support calls.

What we are looking for

We would like to connect with candidates who have knowledge of JDE CNC and experience in project-based work as well as support tasks.

Your knowledge and skills

  • 3–5+ years of experience with JDE CNC, preferably Oracle Certified CNC.
  • Higher education level (bachelor’s degree or equivalent thinking/working level).
  • A self-starter who manages their own planning and coordinates where necessary.
  • Innovative thinker and solution-oriented. Always looking for how to deliver the highest quality and add the most value.
  • An open and approachable personality with strong communication skills, essential for supporting colleagues and clients effectively.
  • Eagerness to learn and the ability to quickly process new information and acquire knowledge.
  • Ideally, you also have consultancy skills: able to anticipate needs, think along, and advise clients (solicited and unsolicited) on challenges or potential risks.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English is a must. Proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
