The role

You advise potential customers on how ERP business software best fits their ambitions, goals and business processes. You identify and meet new potential customers, research their needs and get the customer excited. You present to executives and core users how our ERP solution contributes to achieving business goals and set (functional) requirements. You are responsible for the entire sales process. From lead generation to the successful conclusion of signed agreements.

Your focus will be on selling projects and services around the ERP solution Oracle JD Edwards (JDE). JDE offers modules in areas such as Finance, Procurement, Warehousing, Sales, Manufacturing, Inventory, Quality and Transportation.

You will focus on the board and management level of organizations that often operate internationally and are characterized by complex production, warehouse and logistics business processes.

This is what you enjoy doing:

  • Building and maintaining a sales pipeline.
  • Identify, qualify and bring new sales opportunities to a successful conclusion, i.e. managing the entire sales process.
  • Collaborating with team members from Pre-sales (functional consultants), Marketing and other sales colleagues.
  • Building strong customer relationships with board and management-level stakeholders.
  • Creating creative and distinctive presentations, demos and quotes that get your contacts on the edge of their seats.
  • Create lead generation campaigns with the marketing team.
  • Participate in national and international conferences and trade shows (NL, Europe, USA).

You recognize yourself in this:

  • A results-oriented mindset with 2-4 years of experience in sales.
  • The ambition to grow within the sales team in the Netherlands or one of the other international Steltix offices.
  • HBO working and thinking level.
  • Available 36-40 hours per week.
  • Earning and keeping the trust of your customers is the basis of your sales approach.
  • Your perseverance and energetic personality drive customers to action.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Dutch.
  • Experience with selling similar software solutions is a plus (e.g. competitive business software solutions or ERP solutions).
  • Experience with (international) customers active in production, trade or logistics is a plus.
  • Alone is just alone: you find that you close a deal by working intensively with your colleagues.
  • You have experience with complex, long-term sales projects (3 months+).
  • Experience with RFI and RFP processes is a plus.
  • While sales administration is not your favourite activity, you spend sufficient time accurately recording and maintaining your sales documentation, communications and pipeline.
